A birthday I will never forget!

Well Friday February 1st was my 27th birthday. Happy birthday me!! :) Hubby and I went bowling, more like hubby went bowling I just watched. He is on a legue every Friday night. I wish I could have been bowling too! :( Hubby has this tooth that has needed to be pulled for the past two years and for what ever reasons he has not had the stupid tooth taken care of. Thursday he had an appointment to have it pulled and he cancelled because he did not have his FMLA papers in at work and he was afraid of getting written up. Well, I guess it does not matter now. Friday after bowling his face swelled up with in like a half hour and his tooth, throat and jaw will killing him. We went to Urgent Care and they gave him two antibiotics and some tylenol 3's. Well by Saturday he was drifting in and out of it all day, could not get out of bed and was severly dehydrates. We went to the er and they gave him some fluids and antibiotic through the iv. I had to cancel my birthday party and spend the whole day with hubby. He has been running a fever of about 102 every day now. His doctor is such an idiot, when we went on Monday to see him he asked what we wanted him to do, why were we there. You know we are new to this. I am soo worried about him. I know it will take longer for him to get well, but after four days on antibiotics shouldn't his fever be going down? What about his sugar? 180's, 190's fasting! Kindda crazy if you ask me.

We did have a small party with my in-laws, my parents were not able to come over so late and my in-laws were already at our house. We had cake and ice cream. Hubby bought me a beautiful jewelry armoire, his mom bought me a food processor, that chops my veggies for me so quickly(loving this!) and his gram gave me a gift card to JC Penney's which I will need to buy new clothes. I have lost 20lbs and nothing fits me any more! Hubby lost another 10lbs. He only weigh's 10 more lbs than me!

So I think I will always remember this birthday, maybe not in the best way, but I sure hope hubby learned a very valuable lesson...he needs to take care of himself so that this does not happen again.
