Been a while...

So I thought maybe I should post an update for those who care. Hubby went to the Podiatrist and had his feet checked for the first time. That appointment went great! He still has all of his feeling and his circulation is good!

Hubby's sugar is normal most of the time now! I have also found another great product for diabetics. Stevia, due to the FDA it has to be labled as a dietary supplement, but you use it as a sweatner for your coffee or tea. It is quite expensive at $5 for a box of 50 packets, but I think that it taste good. Hubby thinks it has a slight after taste, but he just misses his sugar I think. Stevia is 100% natural, nothing artificial to cause cancer or other ailments. The one I bought is called "Sweet Leaf" and that has the added fiber inulin. It also helps support healthy liver function and a healthy immune system. As I find more great things I will be sure to share them.

I spend a lot of time researching. I am finding lots of great herbal medicines to help with diabetes. We have not decided yet if we are going to try any of them or which one to try. We think we have it narrowed down. We would like to talk to his doctor about these things first. He will prob. laugh at us, but who cares. If they don't hurt and only help heal, then what's the big deal. Oh, that's right the drug companies wont make any money! LOL!

That is about it right now. Hope everyone is having a great new year!!!

hi love! glad to hear hubby is doing so well. i've heard about stevia. i wasn't aware it had to be labled as a dietry suplament tho..humm. there are some vitamines, i think, by nature time that you use along with prescriptions meds to suplament the vitums that may be depleated by them.
take care
