Hello out there...anyone home???

Ok, so the title of this blog has nothing to do with anything, I just feel kind of goofy! So my one fan complained that I have not updated in some time and that I needed to let world know that I was still alive.

Things have been...well...stressful to say the least over the past year. Hubby is now on insulin for his diabetes, but we feel this is a good thing. He is gaining better control and well, he will just be that much healthy because of it. They have now come to the conclusion that he is a type one. Some blood work that was done several months ago showed that his insulin function was declining and that his body is slowly loosing the ability to make insulin.

The recession has really hit home for us. Hubby does not know from week to week whether or not he is working or laid off. I was laid off from my job in December, but was lucky enough to find a great job by the end of January!! But things have not been easy. It will take so long for us to catch up on everything.

My health has not been the greatest either this year. I hope soon they can get to the bottom with what is going on inside my body!! One more doctors appointment next week, so we shall see how that goes. I will try to get back and post if I ever do find out what is going on.

Otherwise life is good, we are adjusting nicely as a family to hubby's diabetes and supporting him the best we can! And most importantly he has adjusted to diabetes as well! I am sure that no matter what life or diabetes brings us, we can weather the storm together and come out stronger!
